My work is situated within applied linguistics, linguistic anthropology, sociolinguistics, trans and gender studies, and more, making it a bit hard to pin it down. Regardless of discipline, my research centers around critical semiotic approaches to identity construction, subjectivity, and power through mixed methods approaches.
